Optimism is hosting We ❤️ The Art, is a five week onchain art contest on OP mainnet. The competition offers a prize pool of 1,000,000 OP tokens, awarded to winners in four categories: Generative art, 1 of 1s, AI art, and music.

Highlight specializes in generative art tools but our toolkit can be applied to create artwork in any contest category. To enter, follow these steps:

1. Create a new collection on Highlight

2. Deploy the collection on Optimism

3. Submit your work to the contest site

Submissions are currently open and will close at 6 pm ET on December 13th. The submitted artwork must be new and deployed on the Optimism mainnet. For further information and the contest's terms, please visit the contest site.

Deploying a collection on Optimism

To deploy a collection onto Optimism, you will go through the same collection creation flow as with any collection. On your tools dashboard, click "Create a collection" in the upper right hand corner. From there, select what type of collection to deploy.

Go through the collection creation process as you normally would. For more detailed steps, check out our creation guides here.

To deploy to Optimism, select "Optimism" as the blockchain. You can then deploy to testnet to test the collection or mainnet. Projects that are submitted should be deployed to mainnet.
