# Observability

Highlight contracts emit a wide variety of events that can be observed directly on the blockchain. The observability contract coalesces a wide range of Highlight events into a single contract to make things like indexing and event listening across the entire set of Highlight projects easy. You’ll find events related to administrative contract changes, contract deployments, transfer events, and mints. Take a look at the Github repo to see which specific events are emitted.
